君特欧雪茄的全称是Quintero y Hermano意为君特欧与兄弟。君特欧雪茄创立于古巴一个气候宜人的南部旅游城市西恩佛斯。当时还是雪茄烟叶种植园伙计的欧古斯汀君特欧和他的兄弟五人于1915年合伙买下了一个倒闭的烟草作坊，开始了传奇的经营。二十世纪五十年代，凭借着丰富的经验和对市场敏锐的把握，君特欧以低价和品质赢得市场。后美国兴起机制雪茄并很快打击了手工雪茄的市场，作为反映，他们在古巴首都哈瓦那开设了一座新的雪茄厂，并引入了进口的雪茄机器。开始生产机制雪茄，直到今天。

Quintero y Hermano君特欧雪茄是古巴雪茄中为数不多的拥有多款机制雪茄的品牌。君特欧在古巴几乎家喻户晓，与高希霸不同的是，君特欧是以“平民”雪茄而闻名。君特欧的机制雪茄，一改大多机制雪茄品质拙劣的形象，君特欧雪茄精选古巴当地雷蒙迪斯地区的上等烟叶制作—这在机制雪茄中，几乎是奢侈的。要知道，大多数机制雪茄还在使用“下脚料”的碎烟叶。因此，虽然君特欧的机制雪茄在做工上相对于手卷雪茄还是或多或少的存在一些不足，例如茄衣脉络明显，陈化不够等情况的存在。相比于大多数机制雪茄已经是天壤之别，君特欧机制雪茄更接近于手卷雪茄，采用长茄芯而价格却依然是机制雪茄的价格。这便是君特欧的聪明之处。

另外君特欧也有出色的手工雪茄，例如近些年销量显著的君特欧挚爱，这款小罗布图雪茄采用了君特欧划分种植园中最优秀的茄叶，由经验丰富的君特欧技师卷制。味道上中等偏温和，有一些焦糖甜味。最吸引人的，是这款雪茄25只装在绝大多数市场上价格甚至不足100美元，这不得不说是一款极具性价比的古巴雪茄。
